Now there's a marketing idea! I'm surely not the only person to find the batteries are flat on their thermometer whenever they have need to dig it out (assuming you can find it in the first place). And why can't they make them that take NORMAL batteries instead of these obscure flat things that you have to trawl eBay for? Hence wishing I could just plug it in the mains, or a USB port would be even better! I really must get an iPhone cos I bet there's an app for that lol.
Oh, why did I need it? Sore throat, tickly cough, headache and hot flushes. Thought my time had come for Swine Flu (get me out of school sports day tomorrow!) It passed though so am ok, for now. Made me think though what do you do with kids if the parent has Swine Flu? Still send them to school? I don't think I would, but last thing you need is bored whining kids around when you're ill.
