As per my previous post about Ed Dale twittering...he's alerted me to the 'Free Rice' site - you play a game, improve your vocabulary and earn grains of rice which is distributed through the United Nations World Food Programme.
Thinking eh? How? Ugh?
This is how it works...
FreeRice: FAQ: "When you play the game, advertisements appear on the bottom of your screen. The money generated by these advertisements is then used to buy the rice. So by playing, you generate the money that pays for the rice donated to hungry people."
Right up my street, and I learned that 'doff' means 'remove' - mental note to use it more lol
